WebPrimary History. UK Disability History Month (UKDHM) was established in 2010 to celebrate the lives and achievements of people living with disabilities and to chart their work to achieve equality. The number of schools marking this event is increasing, but is still low compared to months celebrating black history and women’s history. WebDisability History Month runs every year.
