WebMar 6, 2024 · I was able to connect to CC2531 via serial by treating it as a CC2530 and ignoring its USB: I flashed CC2530 firmware to it, then connected the serial lines as you would to a CC2530 -- to the P0.2 and P0.3 pins, and powered it via the Vcc/GND pins. WebFeb 18, 2024 · Plug your newly flashed CC2531 with router firmware into a power source like a laptop USB port or a phone charger (it literally only needs power, that is it). Be careful with power banks. The CC2531 draws so little power that most power banks will shut off after 1 minutes because it is not detecting enough current. Webflash CC2531 USB dongle from your Raspberry, without Arduino nor CC Debugger. Works also for CC2530. CC2531 is probably the cheapest option to control zigbee devices from your raspberry with open source software like domoticz or Home assistant .
Web@Koenkk I pressed the button on it but it still wont turn on. It is not connecting to the main server either with the LED off, while other devices are working fine. I tried reflashing but same result, LED turns on when 3.3v is connected to the debug connectors but not when the USB is connected via USB port. Therefore I downloaded the tools from the TI website (the USB driver was a bit difficult to find) and started the TI flash programm.
