WebFeb 13, 2013 · After about 500-600 I got a RCBS press mounted swage die. Lots better as I don't have to clean up shavings off everything. And it seemed lots of my 223 had out of round pockets from the crimping too (once fired win-nt brass), the RCBS tool fixes that too. WebMar 4, 2024 · Once you swage the crimp, it's done for the life of the brass. As to the markings: typically it has LC and two numbers, the numbers are the year made.
