Web15 mei 2009 · My 3-year old 6 hp Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine started emitting white smoke last winter. The choke cam seems to be operating ok, however I did not check to see if the cam had come loose from the choke shaft. Then it started leaking oil out of the muffler.
