Web30 nov. 2008 · The Milrow underground nuclear test was one of three tests that were conducted on Amchitka Island, Alaska. Amchitka is a long, thin island in the Aleutian Island chain. It is located half way between North America and Asia at latitude 51° 59′ N and longitude 178° 59′ E. The island is about 65 km long and varies between 2 and 7 km wide.
